The creators of boundless have over 60 years of combined experience in providing youth and families with educational programs, social supports and community organizing activities. They met and launched boundless after leading a series of community-based responses to COVID-19 in East Harlem, Harlem, Queens and the South Bronx.
Tiffany McFadden, MSW, Executive Director
Tiffany McFadden is an Adjunct Professor at CUNY’s Hunter School of Social Work, and her work in community organizing, planning and program development includes a variety of activities with organizations including The Child Welfare Organizing Project, Hostos Community College and the Alliance of Families for Justice. She also served as the project director for the CUNY Research Foundation’s Social Work Education Infusion Initiative, a partnership between The New York Community Trust, NYC’s Human Resources Administration (HRA), and CUNY (Hunter College - School of Social Work). Most recently, she created and led a multi-ethnic, multi-generational team of community residents funded by the NYC Dept. of Health and Mental Hygiene as part of the city’s “Test & Trace” activities, providing a series of resident-directed responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Tiffany was selected as one of City & State/NYNonprofit Media’ s rising stars in their annual list of “40 Under 40” highlighting the next generation of nonprofit leaders.
Bill Fink, Secretary/Treasurer
For over 25 years, Bill Fink has provided fundraising and marketing/communication services to nonprofits in NYC, focusing on both arts and culture and human service organizations. His development skills span prospect research, grant writing, events, strategic planning, prospect cultivation, budgeting and staff management, with proven success in working with individual donors, foundations, corporations, government funders, board members, lobbyists, volunteers, media and consultants. Bill’s experience also extends to digital marketing and communications, including websites, digital campaigns and social media. Experienced in creative program design, he has furthered engagement with a range of programmatic and philanthropic partners to conceive and establish new activities in the areas such as performing arts, young women’s empowerment, healthy food and early childhood literacy.
Darrell Bridges, Artistic / Educational Director
For more than 15 years, Darrell Bridges has worked with community members in Queens, NY to develop and provide a range of multi-disciplinary educational services for students at all levels. He has built numerous partnerships with local other nonprofits, churches and business to provide programming for youth and families in the areas of arts, education and social services. Darrell is the Executive Director of Arts & Education Continuum (A&EC), a nonprofit that combines efforts to support performing artists with youth programs that build social skills, cultivate positive peer and adult relationships, and expose children to discussions and activities that promote healthy development. His particular focus on supporting at-risk youth began in 2010 when A&EC in association with St. Matthew's Community A.M.E. Church of Hollis started an afterschool program and The Summer Enrichment Program. In 2013, he spearheaded and stewarded the launch of Future Prep/STYA (Successfully Transitioning Youth to Adolescence), a mentoring program for preteens and children of the South Queens community.
